Farzi (2023) Parents Guide: Is the series OK for kids?

Sexual content is mild but present. There are several passionate kissing scenes, and characters are sometimes shown waking up in bed together with bare backs, strongly implying sexual encounters without depicting nudity or explicit acts. Some female characters are shown in outfits that reveal cleavage.

Violence is moderate to strong, often resulting in bloody injuries but rarely graphic gore. Fighting scenes, including brawls and shootouts, occur throughout. Characters are threatened, beaten, and interrogated, with some scenes implying torture. A particularly intense scene involves the decapitation of a character, though it is not explicitly shown on screen, the aftermath and discussion confirm it.

Frequent and strong profanity is used throughout the season in both Hindi and English. Derogatory terms, expletives, and curse words are commonplace in dialogue among various characters, particularly in stressful or confrontational situations. English 'F-words' are used frequently, alongside numerous strong Hindi expletives.

The primary themes revolve around poverty, ambition, and the morally grey choices individuals make when seeking success and survival. Corruption within governmental agencies and the police force is a persistent theme. Other themes include betrayal, loss, the blurred lines between good and evil, and the impact of criminal activities on personal lives and relationships.
