Boundless (2022) Parents Guide: Is the series OK for kids?

The series features strong sexual content, including full male rear nudity and implied sexual acts in a pub in the first episode. Episode 2 depicts an implicit but graphic scene of a man sexually assaulting a boy, with clear thrusting. Later episodes include scenes of native women with bare breasts and implied orgies or exploitative sexual encounters between the crew and native women.

Violence is frequent and graphic throughout the season. This includes brutal stabbings, shootings, executions by hanging and beheading, and intense naval and ground battles. Themes of ambition, betrayal, and the psychological toll of prolonged isolation and danger are also central.
