Sex and nudity in Warrior

Sexual content is moderate but consistent, primarily involving brothel scenes with partially clad or nude women (full frontal seen) and implied sexual acts. While explicit sex scenes are less frequent than in earlier seasons, there are still instances of characters undressing or in states of undress, and crude sexual references are made. A character struggles with being forced into prostitution.

Violence and gore in Warrior

Violence is severe, graphic, and pervasive. Martial arts fight scenes are frequent, often resulting in bloody injuries, broken bones, and deaths. Characters are routinely stabbed, shot, and beaten with significant blood splatter and gore. Specific scenes include a brutal leg amputation (flashback with maggots and gore), a graphic lynching, and multiple instances of torture. Gang warfare involves large-scale brawls and firearm use, leading to numerous casualties.

Language in Warrior

Profanity is severe and frequent throughout, including regular use of 'f**k,' 'sh*t,' 'c*nt,' 'a**hole,' and various other expletives, often in rapid succession. Racial slurs, particularly against Chinese characters, are also common and used to highlight the pervasive prejudice of the era. The language is consistent with a TV-MA rating.

Mature themes in Warrior

Mature themes are central to the narrative, including intense racism against Chinese immigrants, systemic corruption, political manipulation, and the struggle for power and survival. The show explores themes of addiction (Lee's laudanum use, opium dens), exploitation (sex trafficking), revenge, and family loyalty. The psychological impact of violence and prejudice on characters is also a significant theme.
