Secret Level (2024) Parents Guide: Is the series OK for kids?

The first season contains no sexual content, nudity, or suggestive situations. As the series focuses on visceral action and game-inspired narratives of survival, it omits romantic subplots and physical intimacy. The character designs, while realistic in portions of the animation, remain focused on combat readiness rather than sexualization.

Violence is severe and often graphic across most episodes. It includes detailed depictions of combat, point-blank shootings, stabbings, dismemberment, and explosions. Blood and gore are frequently visible, with characters being impaled, torn apart, and sustaining gruesome injuries. Robotic characters explode or are damaged in visceral ways. The violence is often fast-paced and intense, with high body counts.

Strong language is prevalent throughout the season, with frequent use of 'f**k,' 'sh*t,' and other expletives appearing regularly in many episodes, particularly during combat or moments of high stress. Lesser profanity such as 'damn' and 'hell' is also common.

Mature themes are consistently explored, including the cycle of revenge, war, death, loss, existential dread, and the nature of humanity/identity in artificial beings. Characters grapple with difficult choices, moral ambiguities, and the trauma of their circumstances. The consequences of conflict and power are central to many narratives.
