Final Project (2026) Parents Guide: Is the series OK for kids?

The season features intense kissing and making out, groping, and implied sexual encounters between teenage characters. There are suggestive scenes, discussions of sex, and themes of sexual manipulation and coercion. Characters are shown in various states of undress (shirtless males, underwear-clad females) but without explicit nudity.

Violence escalates significantly throughout the season. Early episodes include cyberbullying, physical altercations, and a vicious prank that turns deadly. Later, characters are subjected to torture, including being tied up and waterboarded, graphic depictions of murder, and violent assaults involving weapons like a hammer. Blood and gore are shown.

Frequent use of strong profanity, including f-bombs and other expletives, is present throughout the season. This is used casually among the high school students and in moments of heightened emotional distress. Characters also engage in verbal taunting, cyberbullying, and aggressive, threatening dialogue.

Characters are occasionally seen consuming alcohol at parties, with some instances of intoxication. This is not a central plot point but contributes to the reckless behavior seen among the teenagers.

Pervasive dark themes include stalking, cyberbullying, obsession, revenge, murder, and psychological manipulation. Parental betrayal, teen suicide, and the traumatic consequences of past actions drive much of the plot.
