Violence is frequent and consists of sci-fi monster action. Graboids and Shriekers attack, impale, and devour multiple human characters, sometimes with splashes of blood. Characters fight back with flamethrowers, machetes, dynamite, and a chainsaw, resulting in explosions and large amounts of green and orange creature gore. Several main and supporting characters are killed on-screen, including one who is swallowed whole by a giant monster.
