Sex and nudity in The Hidden Face

Strong and explicit sexual content and nudity throughout. IMDb parent guide documents multiple scenes where Fabiana (Martina García) and Belén (Clara Lago) are shown nude (bathtub and shower) with brief full-frontal exposure, and there are on-screen sex scenes (shower and bed) with visible breasts and audible intercourse. A nude, burned corpse is also shown briefly in a morgue, which the IMDb guide flags as graphic nudity in a non-erotic, horrific context. Expect mature sexual images that justify parental caution.

Violence and gore in The Hidden Face

Mostly non-graphic physical threats and a few disturbing images. The film includes two scalding-shower moments where hot water visibly injures skin (shown from different viewpoints), a fall that causes a head injury, and a brief shot of a burned corpse in a morgue — the latter is short but visually explicit (IMDb notes the morgue image). There is little in the way of sustained physical fights, but the scalding and the corpse image can be upsetting.

Language in The Hidden Face

Mild, occasional profanity in Spanish. Characters use strong insults such as "hijo/a de puta" a few times (recorded by IMDb users), but the film lacks pervasive coarse-language throughout.

Drugs, alcohol, and smoking in The Hidden Face

Mild drinking use appears on-screen. Adrián drinks heavily (including a bar scene where he meets Fabiana) and there are references/visuals of alcohol in the house; no drug use is depicted (IMDb notes several instances of drinking).

Mature themes in The Hidden Face

Heavy themes of jealousy, deception, voyeurism, isolation and entrapment drive the plot. Key plot mechanics are Belén hiding in a soundproof secret room with two-way mirrors to spy on Adrián, then losing the key and becoming trapped; later Fabiana discovers signs of someone inside (tapping on pipes) and faces a moral choice that leads to her own imprisonment. There's also a pointed death threat from a police investigator toward Adrián, increasing the film's sense of danger and moral ambiguity.
