La jauría (2020) Parents Guide: Is the series OK for kids?

Sexual content is severe and is primarily linked to the central theme of sexual abuse and the online predatory game. This includes implied rape, sometimes revisited through video replays showing half-naked bodies and moans, though explicit nudity is brief and partial (e.g., buttock or breast glimpses). One scene shows a woman masturbating on a screen. There are also scenes of passionate kissing and implied sexual encounters without explicit detail or full nudity, such as a couple having sex with the woman in a bra.

Violence is strong and graphic, including brutal beatings, stabbings, and multiple shootings. Characters are shown being physically assaulted, bleeding significantly, and some die from their injuries. A character commits suicide by shooting themselves. There are also scenes of bodies discovered, some partially nude, and a brief glimpse of a male body with full frontal nudity in a morgue setting.

Frequent use of strong profanity, including expletives in Spanish such as "concha tu madre" (motherf****r), "culiao" (a**hole), "hueón" (dude/idiot, but often used offensively), and other strong Chilean slang. The language is often used in moments of anger, frustration, or to assert dominance.

Central themes include sexual abuse, misogyny, online predator networks, corruption within institutions, violence against women, and the psychological impact of trauma. The series delves into aspects of social injustice, bystander effect, and the struggle for justice in a system that often protects the powerful. Grief, loss, and the breakdown of trust are also prominent.
