Moderate sexual content includes implied sexual encounters, and suggestive dialogue. A scene implies rape off-screen with no nudity. Other scenes show characters kissing intimately. Partial nudity (backs, shoulders) may be briefly visible in some intimate moments without explicit depiction of genitalia.

Frequent strong violence, including graphic deaths, often involving impalement or falling, and significant blood splatter. Characters are shot, stabbed, and die in various unsettling ways. There are scenes of implied animal harm as well as disturbing body horror featuring strange organic growths and transformations. The intensity of violence escalates as the season progresses.

Moderate use of strong language, including instances of "fuck" and "shit," often in moments of stress or anger. Blasphemous exclamations like "for Christ's sake" are also present.

Occasional depictions of characters drinking alcohol, primarily wine or spirits, in social settings or to cope with stress. Smoking tobacco is also briefly seen. These uses are generally mild and not central to the plot.

Pervasive mature themes include suicide (explicitly depicted and discussed), grief, trauma, and mental distress. The series frequently explores existential questions about reality, memory, and identity, creating a consistently unsettling and psychologically intense atmosphere. Child harm and endangerment are also significant thematic elements.
