Sex and nudity in The Whole Truth

Brief, non-graphic sexual content and invasion-of-privacy: a teenage boy filmed Pim showering and a revenge/blackmail subplot revolves around that footage. Pim is seen in a shower in footage (side breast glimpse described in the IMDb Parents Guide). No explicit sex scenes or nudity beyond that brief voyeuristic image.

Violence and gore in The Whole Truth

Strong and sometimes graphic supernatural and physical violence: multiple on-screen scenes show a murdered cat in a graphic way, characters vomiting dark/bloody fluid, and a later gunshot death with visible blood splatter. IMDb Parents Guide specifically notes "multiple graphic scenes of a murdered cat" and a man who shoots himself with blood shown on the wall. The film pairs real-world violence (blood, a suicide) with disturbing supernatural body-horror.

Language in The Whole Truth

Moderate profanity throughout: characters use insults and occasional strong expletives during confrontations (IMDb reports several uses of words like "bastard" and other harsher insults). The language is not constant but appears in tense confrontations and heated scenes.

Drugs, alcohol, and smoking in The Whole Truth

Mild alcohol use: a few brief scenes show adults drinking and one character is referred to as a drunk in dialogue (IMDb notes two people drinking). There is no extended drug use or glamorized intoxication.

Mature themes in The Whole Truth

Strong, adult themes: grief and family loss after Mai's crash and coma, elder dementia (grandmother Wan confuses names and eras), blackmail/sex exploitation, and vigilantism/justice-seeking by Phong. The movie builds sustained dread around family secrets and contains suicide and intense emotional trauma in the final act.
