Sex and nudity in The Invasion

Mild. There is a very brief, non-explicit glimpse of Carol (Nicole Kidman) showing a breast under a white blouse early in the film; no sexual activity or nudity beyond that.

Violence and gore in The Invasion

Moderate to strong and often clinical in tone: the movie shows a space shuttle breaking up, a violent hit-and-run, a dog attack/struggle, several unsettling transformation scenes (slime, green vomit), and a close-range infection by spitting. Later a converted colleague confronts Carol and she fires a gun, wounding him in the leg. The violence is not graphic in the slasher sense, but several sequences are intense, messy, and designed to be disturbing.

Language in The Invasion

Light. Dialogue includes a few mild blasphemous uses of 'Jesus' and similar exclamations; there is no frequent strong profanity or sexualized slurs reported.

Drugs, alcohol, and smoking in The Invasion

Light. Characters use prescription meds and sleeping drugs (an elderly woman is medicated to sleep) and Carol seeks medicine to stay awake; Oliver is asked to inject an antidote into his mother in one scene. Alcohol is present at a party but not glamorized.

Mature themes in The Invasion

Moderate. The film revolves around an epidemic, loss of identity (people becoming emotionless), fear of contagion, and a mother's desperate attempt to rescue her son; it also contains implied deaths and memory loss after the infection is cured. Those themes create sustained tension and moral/ existential unease rather than explicit gore.
