Sex and nudity in Meet the Fockers

Contains frequent and direct sexual humor, innuendo, and discussions. Greg's mother, Roz, is a sex therapist for seniors, and her work is a primary source of jokes; her book "Is Your Vagina Happy?" is shown. There are discussions about using whipped cream during sex and other techniques. In one scene, Jack wears a prosthetic breast designed to feed his grandson and asks Greg to touch it. There are also sight gags about cleavage and a brief moment of non-sexual mooning from a moving vehicle. No explicit sexual acts…

Violence and gore in Meet the Fockers

Violence is infrequent and played entirely for comedic, slapstick effect. In a game of touch football, a character is tackled and injures his back. A toddler hits an adult in the face, causing a bloody nose. In a key scene, a police officer uses a taser on three main characters, who react with exaggerated, non-graphic convulsions. A dog and cat fight, resulting in the dog being flushed down a toilet (he is quickly saved).

Language in Meet the Fockers

Language is mild to moderate for a PG-13 film. The word "asshole" is used a few times, most notably when it is accidentally taught to and repeated by a one-year-old child. There are a few uses of "shit" and "goddamn." The central running gag of the film is the surname "Focker," which is frequently misheard or used to sound like a profanity, though the word itself is never said.

Drugs, alcohol, and smoking in Meet the Fockers

Contains a key plot point involving drug use. To uncover what he believes is the truth, Jack injects an unsuspecting Greg with sodium thiopental, a "truth serum," causing him to lose control and blurt out secrets. In another scene, a toddler gets his hands on a bottle of rum and glues his hands to it, but does not drink any. Characters drink wine and champagne socially during meals and at a party.

Mature themes in Meet the Fockers

The central themes revolve around intense family conflict, deception, and mistrust. Jack's past as a CIA agent fuels his paranoia, leading him to spy on Greg, conduct a secret DNA test, and ultimately drug him. Different parenting styles (strict vs. liberal) are a major source of conflict and judgment between the two families. The plot also hinges on the uncomfortable (and false) suspicion that Greg has an illegitimate child.
