Sex and nudity in Entrapment

Sensuality is moderate. A key scene involves a female character, Gin, training to bypass a laser grid in a tight catsuit, with the camera lingering on her body as she contorts into suggestive positions. In several other scenes, she is implied to be nude in bed, though she is always obscured by sheets and no explicit nudity is shown. The two lead characters also share a passionate, clothed kiss.

Violence and gore in Entrapment

Violence is infrequent and largely non-graphic. There are chase sequences with characters shooting at each other, but little blood or injury is shown. In one tense interrogation, a man holds a woman's head underwater for several seconds to force a confession. The finale involves a long, perilous escape from a skyscraper that includes characters dangling at extreme heights.

Language in Entrapment

Language is moderate to strong for a PG-13 film. The dialogue includes two uses of the 'f-word', both used in non-sexual contexts. Other profanity includes approximately six uses of 'shit' and various uses of 'hell,' 'damn,' 'bastard,' and 'bitch.'

Drugs, alcohol, and smoking in Entrapment

There is a brief but distinct scene of drug use near the beginning of the film where a minor character is shown smoking a bong and appearing high. Characters also drink alcoholic beverages like wine and champagne in social settings, such as at parties and over dinner.

Mature themes in Entrapment

The central themes involve crime, deception, and betrayal, as the main characters are professional thieves who constantly lie to and manipulate one another. There are several scenes of intense, high-stakes peril, particularly a vertigo-inducing sequence set atop the Petronas Towers. The film also features a significant age-gap romance as a central plot element.
