Ricky Ricotta's Mighty Robot #4 Vs. The Mecha-monkeys From Mars (2007) Parents Guide: Is the book OK for kids?

There is no sexual content in this book. The story focuses entirely on friendship, action, and mechanical science fiction themes between a young mouse and his giant robot. It is appropriate for all ages in this regard, as there are no romantic subplots or suggestive jokes. The narrative maintains a child-centric focus on play and heroism. Even the villains are purely motivated by space-conquest rather than interpersonal complexities.

The violence is limited to non-graphic, slapstick cartoon action featuring giant robots and mechanical monkeys. Characters engage in chase scenes and tussles, such as when the Mecha-monkeys use their machines to cause chaos in Squeakyville.
