Sexual content is mild, primarily consisting of implied infidelity and a brief, non-graphic scene of a married couple having sex under covers without any nudity. Dialogue occasionally references sexual acts, but there is no explicit visual content.

Violence is minimal and non-graphic. There's a scene where G. Gordon Liddy theatrically brandishes a gun at a child, which is later revealed to be a BB gun. Other instances of violence are implied, such as the characters discussing plans for break-ins, or brief, non-injurious struggles during the burglaries.

The language in this season is strong and frequent. The 'f-word' is used dozens of times in most episodes by various characters, often in moments of frustration or anger. Other strong profanities and expletives are also used regularly.

There is consistent and casual depiction of alcohol consumption, including social drinking at parties and with meals. Characters, particularly E. Howard Hunt, are frequently shown smoking cigarettes and pipes throughout the series. There's no depiction of illicit drug use.

The season explores themes of political corruption, paranoia, loyalty, and the unraveling of personal lives due to involvement in illicit government activities. It delves into the pressure on families and the ethical compromises made by the main characters, including E. Howard Hunt's extramarital affairs and the impact on their children.
