Skeleton Knight in Another World (2022) Parents Guide: Is the series OK for kids?

There are instances of mild sexual innuendo and suggestive situations. A woman is shown bathing with sensitive areas obscured. There is a specific incident where men attempt to assault two young women, which is implied though not graphically depicted, and another brief scene involving a man groping a woman's breast. A man with bad intentions also licks a child's face in a disturbing manner.

Fantasy violence is frequent, with battles against monsters and human antagonists. Combat involves swords and magic, and often results in blood spray and dismemberment of monsters. Human characters are also killed, sometimes graphically with blood, such as men being sliced in half. A woman is heard screaming as she is consumed offscreen by a monster. The violence can be intense but is typical for fantasy animated series.

Mild profanity is present, including words like "damn" and "hell." Stronger terms like "bitch" are infrequent but do appear in emotional or confrontational moments. The language is generally on par with a TV-14 rating.

Alcohol use is occasionally depicted with characters drinking in taverns or during celebratory moments. This is generally for setting the scene and not a focus of the plot, nor does it typically lead to intoxication.

The season directly addresses serious themes such as human trafficking, slavery, and discrimination against beast people. There are depictions of characters being kidnapped and exploited, emphasizing the harsh realities of the world. The impact of these societal issues is a recurring element, prompting Arc and his companions to intervene and fight for justice.
