He Is Psychometric (2019) Parents Guide: Is the series OK for kids?

Romantic relationships are depicted, including chaste kisses between main characters. There is no nudity, explicit sexual content, or suggestive dialogue.

The series features frequent violence, including fistfights, kidnappings, and scenes of murder. Characters are seen being beaten, with some blood shown, though not graphically. Flashbacks to a traumatic fire and its aftermath, including dead bodies, are recurring. A character is shot and another is stabbed, leading to death. Child abuse and torture are implied through flashbacks and character backstories, showing children chained.

Mild Korean expletives are used infrequently, translating to equivalents of 'damn' or 'hell.' There is no strong profanity or consistent use of offensive language.

Characters are occasionally shown drinking alcohol socially in bars or at home. This is generally in moderation and not a focus of the plot. There are no depictions of drug use or smoking.

Central themes involve grief, trauma, and justice. The plot revolves around a past arson and murder that killed many, including children, and the subsequent cover-up. Child abuse, abandonment, and mental illness are significant elements, particularly through the backstory of a character who was kept captive and tortured for years. Betrayal and the struggle with one's identity as a 'monster' also drive much of the narrative.
