Trimmed is officially rated NR. Bontent's independent parent guide recommends it for ages 14+.

Trimmed is a brief psychological thriller that follows an American dancer's unsettling experience at a prestigious Berlin dance company. The film features scenes of psychological tension, mild verbal insults, and atmospheric dread suited for mature teen audiences and above. Parents should be aware of a short sequence…

There is no nudity or explicit sexual content. The film contains brief, fleeting suggestions of intimacy within the high-pressure environment of the dance academy, but nothing graphic.

Violence is absent in a physical sense, with the tension derived entirely from psychological distress and the intimidating environment of the dance studio.

Language includes a few mild insults and heated exchanges between dancers, such as 'idiot' and 'pathetic,' used to convey professional frustration.

There is a brief scene where dancers are shown drinking wine at an evening social function to relax after a long rehearsal.

The primary themes involve intense performance anxiety, social isolation, and the loss of personal identity when entering a high-stakes, competitive environment.

Trimmed runs 16 minutes, directed by Matty Peacock, released in 2027.
