Sex and nudity in Time Trap

This category is very light. There is no nudity. A male character, Furby, makes a few mildly inappropriate comments toward a female character. During a climbing sequence, a character's underwear is briefly visible through the leg opening of her shorts from a low camera angle. Some female characters also wear tops with noticeable cleavage. All instances are brief and not the focus of the scenes.

Violence and gore in Time Trap

Violence is moderate and mostly non-graphic. Characters fall while climbing, resulting in injuries. A character is found dead with a broken neck, though the injury is not shown. It is later revealed via found footage that he was killed by a caveman. Other scenes include fights with primitive humans, where characters are hit with rocks and one is bludgeoned to death on-screen but without gore. There are also images of a large battle frozen in time and a futuristic being who non-lethally subdues an attacker.

Language in Time Trap

Language is moderate. The screenplay includes approximately five uses of "s--t," as well as a few instances of "dick" and "dumbass." One use of the "f-word" is started but cut off before it is fully spoken. The term "God" is also used as an exclamation several times.

Drugs, alcohol, and smoking in Time Trap

None. There is no depiction of alcohol, drugs, or smoking.

Mature themes in Time Trap

The film deals with moderate to strong themes of survival, peril, and loss. Characters must grapple with the deaths of their friends and professor. The central theme is the existential dread of being displaced in time, realizing that everyone and everything they knew is gone. The ending introduces complex ideas about human evolution, the world's end, and resettlement on other planets.
