Content is mild and infrequent. In one musical number, several male backup dancers are briefly shown from behind with bare buttocks. There are a few suggestive jokes and remarks, including one about a pregnant woman needing to have "kept her legs together," and another about a man's crotch.

Violence and gore in Spice World

Violence is very light and consistently played for comedy. A fantasy sequence features Emma Bunton using cartoonish martial arts to fight off generic villains without any injury shown. The film's climax is a movie-within-a-movie sequence where the girls drive their tour bus recklessly through London and discover a fake bomb, with all peril being entirely slapstick. The bomb explodes comically during the credits.

Language is infrequent and mild. There are a few uses of British slang like "bloody" and "arse," used in moments of exasperation. There is some light name-calling, but no strong profanity.

Drugs, alcohol, and smoking in Spice World

Substance use is inconsequential. Adults are shown holding and drinking alcoholic beverages in the background during a large party scene, but no emphasis is placed on consumption and no characters are shown to be intoxicated.

Mature themes in Spice World

The Spice Girls contend with a sleazy newspaper owner trying to ruin their careers, navigate the pressures of their schedule, and have a brief falling out before reaffirming their bond. A major subplot involves their close friend Nicola's pregnancy and childbirth.
