There is no explicit content. Occasional suggestive jokes and references to 'hooking up' occur, along with a brief, non-graphic scene featuring a character in a thong seen through a suit.

Moderate. Scenes include aftermaths of ship explosions with blood, a character being forcibly drugged, and a medical procedure where a ventilator is removed. A character is also shown bruised and bloody following a spacecraft accident.

Mild. The dialogue includes infrequent uses of 'hell,' 'piss,' and 'bugger,' along with an interrupted expletive that is humorously corrected to 'fudgey.'

Mild. Ryland Grace consumes vodka to cope with his situation, and there are passing verbal references to heroin and the necessity of prescription medication for space travel.

Moderate. The film touches on the heavy weight of a suicide mission, the grief of losing crew members, and the intense psychological stress of isolation in deep space.

Project Hail Mary runs 157 minutes, directed by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, released in 2026.
