Sex and nudity in All the King's Men

Light-to-mild sexual content appears in a few sequences: a stage dancer is shown revealing cleavage/legs/buttocks as part of Willie Stark's selections, and Jack Burden has repeated memory/flashback scenes of Anne Stanton in a slip by a river and implied nudity in bed. Nothing explicit is shown in detail; most sexual material is suggested or briefly framed. IMDb Parents Guide notes the dancer sequence and the flashback nudity.

Violence and gore in All the King's Men

Violence is mostly grounded and culminates in an on-screen assassination late in the film: Willie Stark is shot and there is visible pooling of blood (presented in a restrained, non-graphic way), and the governor's bodyguard immediately kills the shooter. There are also brief scuffles and confrontations earlier in the story. IMDb's rating cites an "intense sequence of violence" surrounding the final assassination.

Language in All the King's Men

Language is occasional rather than constant, with mild profanities such as 'goddamn' and 'hell' and at least one use of a racial slur in heated political contexts (reported in the IMDb Parents Guide). Swearing is contextual—mostly in arguments and political speeches rather than constant bad language.

Drugs, alcohol, and smoking in All the King's Men

Frequent on-screen smoking (cigarettes and cigars) appears in offices and campaign settings, and several characters drink to excess—there are moments of visible drunkenness and passing out. Substance use is portrayed as part of the political milieu rather than glamorized.

Mature themes in All the King's Men

Strong mature themes run throughout: political corruption, blackmail/manipulation, betrayal, and multiple deaths by suicide that have emotional consequences for central characters (Judge Irwin's suicide and other implied suicides are plot catalysts). The film deals with moral compromise and guilt (Jack Burden learning Irwin is his father), which can be heavy for younger viewers.
