There is no explicit sexual content or nudity. A few scenes imply romantic feelings between Melinda and Edred, including close dancing at a pub, but these are brief and innocent.

The series features frequent fantasy violence, including martial arts, sword fighting, and magical combat between the heroes and various monster-like creatures or robotic foes. Battles often result in property damage and characters being knocked out or defeated, but there is no graphic gore or visible blood. The visual style can be intense, with large-scale destruction and fast-paced action sequences.

Only very mild exclamations like "heck" are used. No strong language or profanity is present.

There is no use of illegal drugs or alcohol shown within the season. The dialogue remains clean and suitable for older children, focusing entirely on the quest to defeat an ancient evil. Characters occasionally discuss the disorientation of reincarnation, but there are no references to substance abuse or profanity.

Core themes include identity as the heroes grapple with their past selves and current lives, the burden of destiny, and sacrifice. The concept of an ancient evil entity poses a constant threat, creating moments of peril and the characters frequently face psychological struggles related to their forgotten past and their current human hosts' lives.
