Modern Family (2009) Parents Guide: Is the series OK for kids?
Age Rating, Sex, Violence & Language
The Pritchett-Dunphy-Tucker clan is a wonderfully large and blended family. They give us an honest and often hilarious look into the sometimes warm, sometimes twisted, embrace of the modern family.
TV-PG • 2009 • 11 seasons
Modern Family is warm and funny, but it is a more adult family sitcom than many parents remember. The main issues are frequent innuendo, dating and marriage jokes, drinking references, mild language, body humor, and occasional mature family topics. Violence is light and slapstick, but sexual humor is regular enough that it fits better for older tweens and teens.
