Bee and PuppyCat (2022) Parents Guide: Is the series OK for kids?

Mild. Sexual content is limited to some mild innuendo and suggestive animations. There is a running gag involving a character, Crispin, having an unexplained large hole in his crotch area that can be a site of physical comedy or mild discomfort for other characters. No nudity or explicit sexual acts are shown or directly implied.

Mild. Violence is highly stylized and infrequent, typical of an action-cartoon, with no blood or graphic injury. Characters are non-human or cartoon human-coded, and any peril is quickly resolved with no lasting consequences. Examples include PuppyCat engaging in cartoon scuffles, a monster's tongue being cut off non-graphically, and a cake being destroyed with a baseball bat. The animation style and lack of lasting harm qualify it for a -1 violence modifier.

Mild. The language is generally clean, though characters occasionally use very mild exclamations like "ass" (e.g., 'grown-ass man' is heard, censored, in one instance). PuppyCat can be verbally dismissive or insulting towards others, but without profanity. There are references to censored 'f-bombs' but these are bleeped out with no actual profanity heard.

None. There is no depiction of alcohol, tobacco, or drug use in this season.

Moderate. The series explores themes of unemployment, anxiety, loneliness, and the struggle common to young adults. Some episodes touch on feelings of being stuck or directionless. Cardamon, a young boy, carries significant responsibilities as a landlord, and there are underlying hints of his mother's unexplained prolonged coma, creating moments of melancholy.
