Sex and nudity in Zootopia
There is no overt sexual content, though there is brief, mild innuendo involving a naturist club where animals are seen without clothes. The character Gazelle wears a fitted outfit and dances in a suggestive manner, but these elements are largely played for light humor.
Violence and gore in Zootopia
The film contains moderate, stylized action-cartoon violence. Characters engage in chase sequences, physical altercations, and near-death traps, such as being threatened by a mob or caught in a museum confrontation. Using the animated modifier, these moments are not graphic, though the transformation of predators into savage beasts is designed to be intentionally startling.
Language in Zootopia
Language is very mild, consisting of a few exclamations like 'Oh my God' and 'By God.' A character is told to 'kick his butt,' and there is a recurring plot point where the word 'cute' functions as a slur among species, which parents might need to clarify.
Drugs, alcohol, and smoking in Zootopia
There is a minor plot point involving a psychotropic plant serum that causes animals to act violently and erratically. The sequence where animals are drugged with 'Night Howlers' serves as the primary conflict, but there is no depiction of real-world drug use, alcohol, or smoking.
Mature themes in Zootopia
The film deals heavily with mature themes of racial prejudice, social stereotyping, and the dangers of media-fueled fear. Characters experience genuine trauma related to childhood bullying, and there is a significant focus on systemic corruption and the abuse of political power.
