The film contains several scenes of moderate intimacy, including a scene where Helen and Paris are shown in bed with rear and side nudity visible. Brief non-sexual nudity also occurs during a bathing sequence with Achilles and his concubine. The romantic relationships are central to the plot, though the depictions are stylized for an epic period drama.
Violence and gore in Troy

Language in Troy
Strong language is used occasionally, though it is not a primary focus of the dialogue which favors a formal, archaic tone. Overall, the frequency of coarse language is relatively low for an R-rated war film.
Drugs, alcohol, and smoking in Troy
