The film contains one romantic kiss scene. Additionally, a man is seen briefly at a door wearing only underwear with a tiger print pattern.

The violence is moderate early on but becomes severe, bloody, and brutal in the second half. This includes intense hand-to-hand combat, frequent use of knives for stabbing, and multiple on-screen fatalities with associated crunching sound effects.

The film contains mild instances of name-calling and occasional aggressive dialogue appropriate for a crime thriller.

There are brief, minor depictions of alcohol consumption typical of adult social settings.

The story centers on heavy themes of familial betrayal, the death of parents in the line of duty, and a cycle of vengeance. The narrative explores the moral ambiguity of both the police and the criminal crew.

The Shadow's Edge runs 142 minutes, directed by Larry Yang, released in 2025.
