Sex and nudity in The Interview
The film contains pervasive and crude sexual humor including graphic dialogue regarding anatomy and sexual acts. There are non-explicit sexual encounters shown, along with brief instances of rear male nudity and suggestive situations involving the main characters. The tone is consistently juvenile and locker-room oriented, fitting the R-rated comedic style of Seth Rogen and James Franco.

Language in The Interview
Strong language is constant throughout the entire film, featuring hundreds of uses of the F-word used both aggressively and for comedic emphasis. Other profanities include frequent use of 's***,' 'd***,' and various derogatory slurs and anatomical terms. The dialogue is heavily laden with vulgarities that are typical for a mature-rated buddy comedy.
Drugs, alcohol, and smoking in The Interview
Recreational drug use is a recurring theme, with characters shown smoking marijuana in several scenes for comedic effect. There is also significant consumption of alcohol, including scenes of heavy drinking and intoxication during parties and diplomatic dinners.
