Violence is gritty and realistic, including beatings, stabbings, and gunfire during the manhunt. Several scenes show the consequences of brutal attacks, with blood splatter and visible wounds on the fugitive and his pursuers.

Strong language is used pervasively throughout, including multiple instances of the 'f-word' and other crude profanity used in high-stress, confrontational settings.

There are brief scenes depicting alcohol consumption in social settings, as well as minor references to illicit drug use during the investigation process.

The film deals with heavy themes of injustice, isolation, and the breakdown of civil order during a Halloween-themed crime spree. The protagonist's struggle against a corrupt system provides a bleak emotional undercurrent.

Slayground runs 100 minutes, directed by Jeremy Saulnier, released in 2027.
