The film contains mild suggestive dialogue and flirtatious teenage behavior. Some banter between characters and outfits worn by performers at Santa Land are mildly suggestive, fitting the typical teen-romance aesthetic.

Violence is minimal and non-graphic. It is limited to character conflict, such as a physical altercation over a snow globe, and occasional slapstick-style moments where characters trip or fall during stage performances.

Language is mild and generally family-friendly. It includes occasional insults like 'idiot' or 'loser' and generic mild exclamations that align with its PG rating.

Substance use is negligible. There are fleeting, incidental shots of adults holding glasses of champagne or wine at a gala event, with no focus on consumption.

The film explores themes of loss, familial cruelty, bullying, and the pursuit of dreams. Kat deals with the grief of losing her father, while her stepmother and stepsisters actively exploit and emotionally abuse her throughout the story.

A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish runs 86 minutes, directed by Michelle Johnston, released in 2019.
